Lion’s Mane with Aioli Dipping Sauce

 

If you’re new to lion’s mane and want to try it or simply love the flavor profile of these meaty, tender mushrooms, this recipe is an excellent way to introduce yourself to this mushroom - and it only takes about 15 minutes to make!

Ingredients:

8 oz. Lion’s Mane Mushrooms, pulled (lion’s mane mushrooms pull a part very easily)

1Tbs Olive Oil

1 Garlic Clove, minced

1 tsp Lemon Juice

3/4 cup Mayonnaise

a pinch of White Pepper

a pinch of salt

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Mushroom Instructions:

  1. Heat pan on skillet with enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan

  2. Once oil is hot, add mushrooms to pan

  3. Cook mushrooms, stirring occassionally, for approx. 10 minutes until the edges are golden brown,

  4. Once mushrooms are cooked, add course sea salt to taste

Aioli Instructions:

  1. Add mayonnaise and lemon juice to bowl and stir

  2. Add white pepper, salt, and minced garlic to taste

  3. Feel free to experiment! If you love pepper, add more! If you hate garlic, add less!

*Tip: consider adding old bay seasoning to give it a little spice!
